Mormons Desert Bush's Iraq War

Comment by Larry Ross, April 5, 2007

The increasing loss of religious right believers in Bush's wars, such as the Mormons (below), is another indicator that Bush will likely resort to some extreme action - such as a sudden pre-emptive nuclear attack on Iran. If he fabricates and constructs any excuse, or false flag event and blames Iran, the US mass media will leap on the pro-war bandwagon, repeating his every lie or excuse without criticism.

I think the Bush regime reasons, perhaps rightly, that as they got away with the phoney 9/11 attack and have been using it ever since to justify wars and dictatorial legislation, they can get away with the same kind of thing again. They know from experience with Iraq war lies, that Congress and the media will never expose these existing lies. They are likely to continue being obedient fellow travellers, as well as agreeing with all Bush's new lies.

His doubting supporters and some critics will fall into line and support Bush again, if enough Americans are killed in a false flag attack on the US organised by the Bush regime. Naturally Bush will blame Iran and use it to justify a nuclear attack on Iran.  I think a majority of Americans will agree, so long as the false flag is believable, and the media continue to support all of Bush lies and deceptions.

Most Americans and others throughout the world will not believe that an American President would stage a covert attack on America, thereby murdering his fellow Americans, and then blaming Iran as a pretext for war. It's crazy, but historically this evil tactic worked for Hitler and worked for Lyndon Johnson in the Gulf of Tonkin to escalate the Vietnam War. There are many other examples. Many believe it already worked spectacularly with the false flag 9/11 attack Bush has used ever since to justify wars and dictatorial legislation to increase his power, and plundering of the US Treasury.

Let's forget the 9/11 conspiracy for a moment. Just focus on Bush's multiple war crimes and crimes against the US Constitution and UN Charter. Over 600,000 innocent Iraqi and 3.200 American dead for no reason, is a huge crime. Remember that all this was done based on a collection of lies and false accusations against Saddam Hussein and Iraq . If Bush, Blair & their administrations do this, based on lies, then they are capable of any crime, no matter how big or evil it may be. They are desperate now and under siege on many fronts. This gives them all the more reason to escalate their criminal activity in the hope of suppressing critics and prevailing with their war plans.

All my information and analysis so far, convinces me that this is what happened and what is likely to happen to justify his use of nuclear weapons against Iran - an innocent non-nuclear nation.

Soviet intelligence says the US will attack Iran on Good Friday or close to it as detailed on: http://www.nuclearfree.org.nz

Even Mormons Jumping Off Bush Bandwagon As War Takes Its Toll

by Bill Gallagher, April 3, 2007

DETROIT -- Iraq is lost militarily and politically. Even the Mormons are now abandoning President George W. Bush's mad war. That's akin to the Swiss Guard deserting and leaving the pope to fend for himself with the Vatican under siege.

Other than his own greedy family members, oil barons and military contractors, no group of Americans has stood so steadfastly behind the Bush administration than the members of the Church of Latter-day Saints.

Voters in Utah, the Mormon theocracy, have supported Bush with loyalty they usually reserve for the Brigham Young football team. In 2004, Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney's criminal enterprise got 71 percent of the vote in Utah.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that a two-year compilation of Gallup polls showed staunch support among Mormons for the war in Iraq and Bush's handling of the violence: "American Mormons, more than any other religious group over that period, believed the United States was right to invade Iraq."

But a recent survey found "just 44 percent of those identifying themselves as Mormons said they backed Bush's war management." Mormon support for the war has plunged 21 percentage points in just five months.

The defection of the Mormons is a seismic political event, and you can bet Bush's political brain, Karl Rove, turns pale when he sees those numbers. The head of the Church of Latter-day Saints is expressing doubts about war, and the mayor of Salt Lake City is leading the charge to impeach Bush.
